What data do we process?

When you submit a reservation request or contact us, we process the data you provide to us:

• First and last name
• Email address and phone number
• Information about your travel companions (names and ages of fellow travelers)
• The selected apartment, your arrival and departure dates, and any extras
• Any comments you add

In addition, we collect anonymized usage statistics via Google Analytics, but only with your consent.

What do we use your data for?

• To process and respond to your reservation request or inquiry
• To create and confirm a reservation
• To contact you regarding your stay
• To improve our website, with your consent, using statistics

On what legal basis?

We process your data on two legal bases. First, to fulfill a contract (or steps leading up to it) in order to process your request and reservation. Second, based on your consent, to place analytical and marketing cookies; you can withdraw that consent at any time.

Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics 4 in combination with Google Consent Mode v2. This means that no tracking or marketing cookies are placed until you give your consent via the cookie banner. We always place functional cookies that are necessary for the website to work.

You can change your preferences at any time via the “Cookie Preferences” link at the bottom of each page.

Who Do We Share Data With?

We never sell your data. However, we do engage carefully selected processors who help us deliver the website and our services:

• Vercel and Cloudflare, for hosting and delivering the website
• Mailjet, for sending reservation requests via email
• Google, for website analytics (Google Analytics), exclusively with your consent

Some of these parties may process data outside the European Economic Area. This is done with appropriate safeguards in accordance with the GDPR.

How long do we retain your data?

We do not retain your data longer than is necessary for the purposes mentioned above, or for as long as we are legally required to do so.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or have your personal data deleted. You may also object to the processing of your data and withdraw your consent. To do so, please send an email to villadamara@gmail.com. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority.
